About the AP100HC
Electric Pressure Control
for Surgical Irrigation
The AP100HC is an electrically powered surgical irrigator. It pressurizes saline bags through dedicated pressure bags to deliver irrigation fluid for surgical site irrigation.
Pressure Control
Two Lines
Independent Control
Set the required pressure for CH1 and CH2 separately. Start or pause pressurization on each channel independently.

Pressure Settings & Safety Features

Maximum Set Pressure

Two-Stage Protection
Against Excess Pressure
If pressure rises above the set range, the high-pressure alarm and overpressure protection activate in stages.
01
High-Pressure Alarm
When high pressure is detected, visual and audible alarms activate, and pressurization on both channels stops automatically.
02
Overpressure Protection
When overpressure is detected, the affected channel is automatically depressurized, and the other channel also stops automatically.

Tube Connectors
The AP100HC cannot be used on its own.
Dedicated SPC Series pressure bags are required. The AP100HC comes with two tube connectors.
When ordering three or more pressure bags, you will need one additional tube connector for each bag beyond the first two.

Repeatedly removing and reinserting the tube connector can cause the pressure bag tubing to deteriorate prematurely. Leave the connector attached unless removal is necessary.
Unit Installation
Secure to an IV Pole
with the Rear Clamp
The rear C-shaped clamp fits poles up to approximately 25 mm in diameter (80 mm in circumference), as a guide.

Operating Instructions
From Setup
to Pressurization
-
01
Installation
Secure the AP100HC to an IV pole or similar stand using the rear C-shaped clamp.
-
02
Connections & Power
Connect the AC adapter and tube connectors, then press and hold the power button to turn on the unit.
-
03
Pressure Setting & Pressurization
Set the required pressure using the pressure adjustment buttons, then press the pressurization/pause button to start pressurization.
-
04
Air Release & Bag Replacement
Use the exhaust/depressurization button to release air from the pressure bag. After replacing the saline bag, check the pressure setting and repressurize.
Features That Support Daily Use
Built-In Battery Operation
The unit operates on AC power or its built-in lithium-ion battery. A full charge provides at least 2 hours of continuous operation.
Previous Pressure Settings Saved
The pressure settings in use when the unit is turned off are saved in internal memory and restored when the unit is turned on again.
Watch the Operating Instructions
See the basic steps for connecting the unit, setting the pressure, and starting pressurization.

Clinical Use
For which cases, procedures, or clinical situations do you use the AP100HC?
-
Changes After Adoption
Has introducing the AP100HC improved surgical irrigation, pressurization, or equipment management?
Clinical Use
Primarily FANS
Changes After Adoption
Saline flow has become more stable, making renal pelvic pressure easier to manage. We no longer need to pressurize the bags manually, which has reduced the burden on the surgical team. Being able to use two saline bags also gives us more time to change bags.
Clinical Use
TUL
Changes After Adoption
Repressurizing the bags and replacing saline bags during surgery used to be a major burden. Since introducing the AP100HC, we no longer need to repressurize the bags manually. Bag changes are easier, and it is easier to focus on other tasks.
Clinical Use
Gynecology (TCR)
Changes After Adoption
We previously used manual pressure bags. Since introducing the AP100HC, pressure management has become easier. Being able to attach two 2,000 mL saline bags has also made bag changes easier.
Clinical Use
TUL (especially FANS)
Changes After Adoption
We previously used manual pressure bags. Since introducing the AP100HC, flow has become more stable, helping reduce the burden on nurses.
Clinical Use
Gynecology (TCR), Urology (TUL), and Surgery (laparoscopy)
Changes After Adoption
We had to send our previous device in for repairs many times. The AP100HC seems less likely to break down.
Clinical Use
FANS
Changes After Adoption
We have used it in only one FANS case so far, but we received feedback that it helped shorten the operating time. We were also told that the stable flow was reassuring.
